Simply take this Scan Bar letter with you to Ralphs the next time you shop at Ralphs  and your Rewards card will be automatically connected to our school until August of next year!  This doesn't cost you a penny more  and will help our school greatly!

Walk - A - Thon proves to be a Huge day of Fun and Great Success!

Here are a few Pics of the Walk - A - Thon!  All of the kids had a great time and we want to thank EVERYONE for the AWESOME help and support for such a great day!  If you have any Pics you would like to share, please send them along and we will try and get them posted.   We will have the treasurer's report at the Next FoG meeting on Friday Novemeber 18th @ 8:30 am in Room 2!  Please come and Join us!

Lesley Holmes and your Walk - A - Thon Committee!

Supporting the Walk-a-thon! Thursday the 10th.

This Thursday (NOV 10th) is shaping up to be a glorious day for the Walk-a-thon.

The schedule will go as follows:
8:30 - 9:30     5th/6th graders
9:30 - 10:10      4th    graders
10:40 - 11:40  K-1st graders
12:30 - 1:00      3rd   graders
1:00 - 2:00        2nd  graders

To keep the kids energized we need each class to provide:
ONE BAG OF CUT UP ORANGES
1 or 2 PARENTS

This should be an exciting day for our kids and they should 'walk' away from this with a great sense of pride in their school and their community.
They will need our support and encouragement!

1st Annual Gardnerville Walk-a-Thon is Coming Thursday Nov 10th 2011

We are in the planning stages of the 1st Annual Gardnerville Walk-a-thon  to be held at the track on the lower yard during school hours on Thursday Nov. 10th, 2011.  This is going to be a super fun event for the kids, the teachers and the parents of Gardner Street School.  If you would like to be involved in this awesome event, please come to our committee meeting on Monday @ 8:30 am in the Parent Center (thats the first room to the right as you enter the school from Hawthorne Ave.

Back to School Night is Tuesday, October 11, 2011  4:00 - 7:00 pm.

Friends of Gardnerville will be selling 100 year T shirts, DVDs and Hats and accessories, thanks to our family sponsor VALMATTI.

Our Family Sponsor  JACARANDA have provided us with COFFEE and DESSERTS to sell as well Wonderful Brownie Bash and Vanilla Custard Bars (Yum)!
