Hello Friends Here are some key dates for some big events that are happening at Gardner.

Friday, February 17th  our Walk a Thon Platinum winners will enjoy their Lunch with the Principal - Mr Urbina will be handing out his invitations shortly!

Tuesday March 27th 3:00 - 11:00 pm  VEGGIE GRILL FUNDRAISER  Come eat a healthy meal at the Veggie Grill on Sunset and Laurel and Friends of Gardnerville earns 50 % of your bill.  More details to follow.

Tuesday, April 24th - OPEN HOUSE AND SCIENCE FAIR

Friday May 4th  Friends of Gardnerville 2nd Annual Spring Fling and Silent Auction - Get involved now for this great evening for parents!  kids have a great time too at the babysitting provided by Star!

June 8th  Gardnerville Art Festival and Science Fair  Come chill in the Garderville cafe  and enjoy the children's art that they have worked so hard on all year. This is going to be an exciting event.  Our Arts Festival Committee is still looking for some parents that will make this an incredible event!

The Opening of the Michael Jackson Music Education Lab featuring MUSIQ!

Hello Friends,

Here are some quick photos from the grand opening of the MuisIQ Lab  as well as some press coverage links!  Special thanks to everyone who helped make this such a success; we have had some great feedback!

Most importantly, the Lab is open and our kids are on their way to learning the language of Music!

Holiday Shop!

Well, we finished another year of the Holiday Shop for the kids at Gardnerville!  Again it was a very positive experience for the kids!  We watched them shop and calculate, and wrap the presents that they carefully picked out for their loved ones.   I want to send a heartfelt thanks to all the parents who helped make this event so positive for the kids.

Thank you to Susan Penevolpe, Loren Davidson, Susan Hornung, Geeta, Nick, Svetlana, Irina, Tanya, Cyntia, Lesley Gonzales, and Ms House! I hope I included everyone...I'm still recovering. I was so happy to see so many new parents this year!  The kids and I really appreciated it!

I also want to give a heartfelt Thanks to VALMATTI  for their generous donation of hats and accessories  and to JACARANDA for their delicious Hot Apple Cider and Pastries!

All together with the accessories, hats, tee shirts, pastries, cider and the holiday shop we raised close to $1500.00  We are a little bit closer to our goal of $25,000.00.  We will have the exact amount in the treasurers report at our January meeting - Keep an eye out for the meeting time and place!

Shop at Ralph's? Gardnerville can now earn 5%

Simply take this Scan Bar letter with you to Ralphs the next time you shop at Ralphs  and your Rewards card will be automatically connected to our school until August of next year!  This doesn't cost you a penny more  and will help our school greatly!

Holiday Shopping at the Grove and Americana

Don't forget to turn in your receipts at the concierge at the Grove and Americana and Gardner Street School will receive 5% and it wont cost you a penny more!

Walk - A - Thon proves to be a Huge day of Fun and Great Success!
