There are many announcements as we kick off 2013....

#1:  In case you haven't heard, this year will be the first year you can purchase a yearbook for Gardner Street School!!!  

In addition to school portraits we will also be including candid shots taken throughout the year at various school functions so we would like to invite families and students to submit photos for possible inclusion in the book.  GET YOUR PICTURES IN THE YEARBOOK!  If you've got great photos of school and community events or you and your friends just having fun, we'd like to see them - our photographers can't be everywhere!  Help us get as many photos as possible to create a terrific book everyone will want to have.

 Here is how you can submit photos online:
   1. Go to:

   2. If it does not automatically log you into the site, enter

           username: 400145433 

           password: Gardnerville

(The best way is to copy the hyperlink above and paste it directly into your browser - clicking on the link and using the username and password doesn’t always work)
  3. Browse to select the photo(s) you wish to upload.
  4. Enter information about the photo (including names of those people prominently featured) and provide contact information in case the yearbook staff needs additional information.
  5. Click "Save Details".

It's that easy! Submit your photos today!
Deadline to submit is March 1st, 2013 

Buy your yearbook now for only $20 during our pre-sale now through March 15th...and for an additional $10 you can also purchase a 'HAPPY AD' and write a one sentence personal message to a student, friend or teacher to be included in the yearbook as well!

#2: Our next FoG meeting is Wednesday Jan. 16th at 8:30am in room 2 - PASS IT ON!


#3: Our next FUNraiser is scheduled for Friday, February 8th at Shakey's Pizza (7001 Santa Monica Blvd.) from 5-8pm.  Bring the whole family and friends to enjoy some pizza with fellow schoolmates & parents to help raise money for our school.  And if you can't stay for the party don't worry - take out orders count too!  25% of all food purchases will be donated back to Friends of Gardnerville, so bring your appetite!
